I have found the perfect hair accessory that couples both reclaimed items with simple, subtle, classic style. Tomo & Edie air accessories are made from vintage Japanese silk kimono. After the kimono has reached a point where it can no longer be worn, Tomo & Edie take it apart and give it new life! When a kimono is created, it can take weeks to embroider, dye and sew. Kimonos can cost thousands of dollars and are passed down from generation to generation.
